Upslope risers provide a pump access through an inclined pipe at the side of the landfill site.

Made from heavy duty PE80, they are designed to allow the pump to sit within the horizontal sump thus ensuring the maximum drawdown is achieved. The basal drainage system is normally connected into the upslope riser sump. Additional access pipes for inspection and cleaning can be installed adjacent to the upslope riser pipe.

The size of the upslope riser pipe is defined by the pump which will be installed but the typical size used for the SureFlo ES pump is 500mm PN10. We offer full advice to ensure the correct design is made for individual pumps.
