An inertial type pump consisting of a non-return foot valve and tubing assembly which is oscillated manually vertically over a short distance.

The pulsing oscillation action rapidly displaces the water within the bottom non return valve and pushes the column of water up the discharge pipe to the surface where it is collected for sampling.

It is a proven low cost, high performance system for developing, purging and sampling of monitoring wells and is ideally suited to 2� groundwater monitoring wells.
