TerraFilter

Can be produced to provide filtration down to an equivalent slot width of 100 microns and which can be used in conjunction with TerraDrain™ for specialist drainage applications.

TerraFilter™ incorporates a specially constructed Water Conducting Sleeve, which allows water from all areas of the screen into the slotted or perforated apertures of the base pipe. The uninhibited flow of filtered water towards the apertures makes TerraFilter™ an extremely hydraulically efficient low head loss system.

TerraFilter™ can  be used for horizontal or inclined drainage pipes to reduce pore water pressures and thus improve the stability of railway embankments.
Installation can be done easily by horizontal directional drilling (HDD) or traditional excavation techniques.

Available in dimensions 63 to 315mm.
