MGS brings Alucast well covers to UK

MGS has been appointed UK distributor for Canadian manufacturer Alucast Industries.
Alucast well covers are gaining popularity as an alternative to standard cast iron covers and, as the name suggests, are made from high quality H-20 aluminium.
“We have done a lot of research and have asked the end user (drillers and engineers) what they would want in a manhole cover. What many end users had wanted were a heavier duty skirt and cover, larger bolts, and an overall better cover. We have taken all of this into consideration and have manufactured a new manhole cover that we believe is the most complete monitoring well cover on the market today,” said Alucast Director of Operations Jeff Garby.
“MGS sees this cover as a significant addition to our range. We are delighted to bring this product to the UK,” said MGS Drilling Division Manager Darren Portway Darren and Technical Sales Engineer Richard Houghton are pictured receiving their official distributor status from Jeff Garby.
