Piezocones are high-precision measuring instruments developed for geotechnical soil investigation and are available with different cross sectional surfaces – 2cm² and 10 cm².
Piezocones measure the tip resistance (qc), the local sleeve friction (fs) and the deviation from the vertical axis in 2 directions (i). They also measure in-situ pore pressure which means they are also suitable for dissipation testing. All parameters are measured continuously and simultaneously.
All data can be automatically recorded using the TGAS-08 digital acquisition system.
