Tricone rock roller
Tricone drill bits are used for almost any type on non-coring drilling. They come in several different varieties and can deal with a wide range of different rock formations.
The two types are either Steel Tooth or TCI bits (Tugnsten Carbide Insert), and there is an ideal Tricone bit for soft, medium, or hard rock formations
