Wellhead Type T

The Type T wellhead is used for extraction & control of methane gases in landfill sites.

It comprises a 1 metre long 125mm pipe at the bottom, fitted with a 125 to 160mm flexible adaptor. At the top it is connected to a 125 to 63mm reducing tee. The top of the tee has a stub flange and backing ring and removable blanking plate and is fitted with a 1″ removable cap to allow leachate level monitoring. The 63mm outlet from the tee is fitted with a Tefen gas sampling point.
