SIPHON KNOCK-OUT POT (SKOP)
Siphon knock-out pots for use in landfill gas extraction.
 |
Comprises a chamber into which the landfill gas expands and the velocity reduces. The resulting condensate then drains into the reservoir through an internal tube and as the level rises will drain back into the surrounding waste.
An internal liquid seal prevents any ingress of oxygen and the length of the unit will depend on the maximum suction on the system.
