MGS expands geothermal product range with the customisable U Boat Manifold Chamber

Leading supplier of geotechnical and ground source heat products, MGS, has enhanced its range of geothermal products with the addition of the U Boat Manifold Chamber.
Designed to provide a durable underground protective housing for hydraulic and fluid distribution systems, the U Boat Manifold Chamber is ideally suited for geothermal applications.
Unlike standard manifold chambers, the U Boat offers a fully customisable design that can be tailored to meet the specific requirements of individual projects.
This flexibility makes it particularly well suited to larger projects, where manifold configurations often vary depending on system design.
“Every geothermal project is different and requires a unique manifold configuration, especially with larger installations. That’s why we’ve introduced the U Boat Manifold Chamber. As its customisable design gives engineers and installers the flexibility to create a solution that meets the exact needs of each project, while also making installation and maintenance simpler” states Darren Portway, Division Manager at MGS.
Manufactured from durable polyethylene, the U Boat can accommodate a wide range of manifold configurations, including different manifold sizes, flow meters, flow control valves, varying numbers and sizes of inlet and outlet connections, as well as fill and bleed ports.
Each chamber is pressure tested to 4 bar and features a water-resistant telescopic removable lid, providing long-lasting protection while allowing straightforward access once installed.
