The 43rd annual IAH Irish Group groundwater conference: “Groundwater & Planning”, was held in the Tullamore Court Hotel on April 18th and 19th, 2023.

LeveLine loggers record highly accurate water levels and temperature measurements in groundwater and surface water applications and are a vital tool for all Hydrology studies.
The LeveLink windows PC software comes with every LeveLine PC-KIT. The software enables you to set up your logging schedule, manage barometric and water level data separately, and handle various data compensation options.
Data can be exported into Excel for detailed graph manipulation and it can be exported as a Google file for use in Google Earth if GPS data is available.

Aquaread are a multi-award winning, privately owned, British design and manufacturing company with a head office and manufacturing in Broadstairs, UK.
The LeveLine is a 100% UK manufactured product and records highly accurate water level and temperature measurements in groundwater and surface water applications. Housed inside an all titanium body is a ceramic level sensor, temperature sensor, 10-year lithium battery and a versatile datalogger with capacity for 500,000 data points.
The LeveLine together with the conductivity sensor is adapted from the long established Aquaprobe range and records measurements of conductivity and salinity with an impressive 0-200,000 us/cm range or 0-70 PSU for Salinity.

Pagani Geotechical make a Shelby sampler which is class 1 for taking undisturbed soil samples. Available in 88.9mm or 100mm diameter, it comes with a unique pushing cone for selective drive sampling and reducing overdrive.

As part of Network Rail’s Control Period 6 (CP6), in the South East Region, a number of possessions originally planned for 2021 for track drainage works were brought forward to April-July this year – including Horsham, Southborough, Hanson Yard, Mark Beech Tunnel, Selling and Crawley to Horsham. In total, more than 1,300m of Demco TerraDrain has been supplied during this period.
Demco was able to quickly respond and supply its TerraDrain pipe system to the contractors as needed, thanks to large stock and a UK in-House manufacturing facility. Working closely with UKDN Waterflow Ltd & Onsite Central Ltd, Demco helped ensure all these time-critical projects were delivered on schedule.

The CP6 Delivery Plan for the South East Route is designed to improve the network for passengers and freight customers, covering the time period from April 2019 to March 2024. It has involved the setting out of funding requirements for operations, maintenance and renewals activities, and sharing the predicted outputs and outcomes this will deliver.
